From Munich toward Ukraine: a convoy of ambulances, road bikes and people who put their passion to work for something bigger. We don’t just rack up kilometres – we get help moving. And every group, every club, every ride can make the next ambulance possible..
In 2025, more than 100 cyclists rode all the way to Lviv and delivered 14 ambulances. We learned how desperately they’re needed the night before the handover – in an air-raid shelter, while Russia struck Lviv with drones and cruise missiles. Since the start of the war, Russia has attacked and destroyed more than 600 ambulances.
And now, let’s move on.

For around € 15,000, our partner association Bamberg:UA acquires a fully equipped ambulance. In Ukraine, each one saves an average of five lives a day.

The chain reaction so far
2025
July. About 400 cyclists are starting in Munich together with 14 ambulances – 7 days later, these will be handed over at the market square in Lviv.
2026
January. 4 more ambulances handed over to Ukraine by the Chainreaction team.
Riders from our tour in 2025 went on to organise four fire engines on their own initiative, plus more vehicles and medical supplies.
2027
Next Stage. Assemble your team now. The convoy starts in the summer of 2027.
Why are we doing this?
Because we are cyclists. Because we want to help those in need. Because when our friends are in trouble, we answer the call. We are a global network of cyclists, powerful enough to move mountains when we unite and start a chain reaction of support.
